What’s round on both ends and high in the middle? OHIO!

Here’s another question: How many campgrounds in Ohio are there? More than you could ever imagine. Taking into consideration the natural beauty of the land, abundance of lakes, and outdoor activities, it only makes sense that there are so many opportunities to camp in this great state. From Southern Ohio to northern portions of the state, near Lake Erie, you’ll find a wide variety of private and state-owned campgrounds.

Most Ohio campgrounds are open year-round, although most offer reduced amenities and activities during off-season. But, rates are lower and crowds are smaller—exactly what many campers are seeking.  No matter if you prefer rustic tent camping or more luxurious RV camping, we have somewhere for everyone on this grand list of campgrounds in Ohio.
