Bayside sites include:

  • Tingles Island
  • Pine Tree

All bayside sites are forested with plenty of shade. The exception is Pope Bay, where sites offer limited shade. Amenities include picnic tables, a fire ring, and a chemical toilet. Some bayside camping areas can accommodate up to 25 people.

You must obtain a backcountry camping permit. A 7-day permit is $10 per person. There is no camping fee for backcountry campers. Still, you can’t escape the $20 park entrance fee (good for 7 days) charged per vehicle.
